Cumbria Welcome

It has been such a lovely move up to the beautiful Lake District. I was born here in Cumbria, and so return to my roots. I have missed the mountains!

From my studio window I can look out over to the distant hills. Stepping through the back garden gate onto the playing fields, and a two minute walk brings me to the River Kent.

The wildlife in our garden alone is very impressive - we feed the Rooks, Crows and Jackdaws, as well as all the smaller tweeters. And best of all is Noah, our resident garden hedgehog, who at the moment lies asleep in his cosy purpose biult hedgehog house.

Christmas Card Elves

Celestial Elf and I have had a busy day finally organising our Christmas cards - designing, writing a poem, printing etc. When we had finished (with a pause between to eat yummy home-made soup), I took the opportunity to use some of my lovely rhinestones which have been sitting around waiting to say hello. After much deliberation we decided a lovely dark red one added a finishing touch to the centre of the sun....

Wonderful Plumber

We really like our plumber.... he's funny, tends to sing a lot, and also is totally reliable! Last time he was here, a week ago, he fitted some new taps in the bathroom. Unfortunatley we also needed a new toilet cistern..... booooo to more expenses! However, he also made an order for lots of my wooden goodies, which we will take off the price of the new loo. Fantastic!

Anyway, we made him a special wooden badge as a secret Christmas gift..... don't tell him!

Presents for Drama Queens

Had such good fun making some lovely wooden badges - especially for Drama Queens! Have to say, my daughter is definitely going to be getting one for Christmas. Or perhaps I might make a HUGE one for her and attach a magnet to the back - when she has a hissy fit I can stick it on the fridge just about eye level!

Cake Topper Heaven!

We all enjoy a good munch of cake...... well, perhaps all of us! I certainly do, which is why I am now taking amends to munch less cake and eat more apples.

Have been making some wonderful wooden cake toppers - ideal for transforming the simple cup cake into something extraordinary. The large toppers are perfect for wedding, birth, death, anniversary, cakes of all descriptions! Personalised to suit, you may choose to have any words you like burnt onto the banner....

Having so much fun with my new range of keys. Somebody lovely on my facebook fan page was asking me if I did 'Santa' keys. Just as I was designing some! I quickly speeded up production (which involves making sure I stay off the internet for toooo long), and made a few.
Interestingly, in the picture above, you will see that actually the locking mechanism (that twiddly bit that goes in the actual lock), is the wrong way round!
I therefore used my faithful photo editing software to change them around a bit in this photo. The reason being, that if you hold a key so the writing is the right way up, the lock bit needs to point downwards! All very technical, but hubby now tells me I have it correct...

Been incredibly busy cutting out some lovely hearts, wood burning them, oiling them, adding organza and wooden beads.... then putting them up for sale on Etsy, a few things on Folksy, and Ebay!

Video Making Mayhem

I was up very late last night putting the finishing touches to a new video... Its all because I had an email from Logitech, telling me about a new competition involving the use of my Logitech webcam. Wouldn't have been that interested, except that only a couple of hours earlier, my son had been telling me bout how he was thinking of getting a Sqeezebox thingie (so you can play streaming radio). And it just so happens that this is a prize in the aforementioned competition!

Anyway - this video here, is just something totally different, but when I DO finish the competition one, I will post it here, and you can PLEASE VOTE FOR IT !!!

Please could you tell me more about "I have come to awaken", the heading to your blog. I thought that I would add that I have read the non-duality books and websites and heard that my true nature is awareness. But I wondered what you meant by I come to awaken. Is it by reading your blog or do you get in touch with people individually?'

A Hiya .... back again! Am sooo tired, but will try and answer your questions. When I started my blog, seemingly many moons ago, the intent was to offload some of the energy that seemed to ripple through me endlessly, sometimes it felt like I would explode with the delight and excitement of being alive!

I once saw an amazing demonstration - someone had two tuning forks (used for tuning instruments). Holding them up, they banged one of them, and it sounded.... amazingly, the other one, without being banged, also started to resonate, and started to sound its note. I remember being stunned.

And so, for me, when we are in this world, even if its just walking down the road, our vibrations affects everything around us. How so called 'awake' a person truly is- it is very much like onion skins of consciouseness, one layer off and then another and another etc etc)... so if I am writing my blog, and my intent is to 'wake people' up, as it were, then that vibration is in the words, in the pictures, in the very essence of my pages (and these words as I write to you now).... and even in the smile as I smile as I write to you!!!!! Hahahaha..... when people communicate in any way, shape or form, often huge tunnels/energetic pathways are formed...hahahaha....

One thing I like to do is talk!!! In this case write, and am waiting for my video to upload so I will continue for awhile.

Anyway, where was I. I am happy to answer questions on a one to one basis - you can allways email me ... At one time I used to physically see people and give them 'readings' so to speak (never did like that word, but never came up with one to suit!)

So - am not sure if I answered your questions! You have lots of questions really, I can feel them bubbling away. A bit like bubbles in a fizzy drink! Anyway - write to me, and we shall open up a dialogue. I have stopped inputting into my blog for awhile now - you will have probably noticed the changes in the writings over the years, if you look back into the archives. How did you find my blog? Anyway - thank you, as I have been thinking about wether I will start to do more. One of the reasons I stopped, was part of me got a bit fed up with waiting for people to 'wake up' as it were.... and instead, I have spent the last few years earthing myself.

The planet, and the energy of the moment, as it were, is in a rather magnificent upheaval ..... and I have been wondering where to turn my attention next!

So, in a way, we are all here to wake each other up. I often have a picture (which I do now) of a large mirror, that has been shattered..... I am one piece, you another, etc etc etc. But we have been so long separate we have forgotten we are all one..... and we identify with the single piece we believe ourselves to be. So - when the time is right, we meet the right people at the right time (hopefully in the right order)... and BING... a bit like an old fashioned game of pinball.... things go PING and BHAM and lights light up and noises sound... and it all gets rather exciting!!!

My internet is being rather slow uploading my video at the moment. I have just had a new computer built... and it is SO FAST... my old one kept crashing and drove me totally nuts...

Being Sick is Great!

Reasons to be Cheerful...

For some reason I got horribly ill a couple of days ago... I felt like I was being purged! Twas my stomach, poor thing. Ate something that made it most unreasonable SICK..... I can talk about it with some relish now, as I have regained my sense of humour, but at the time I just flopped around like a poor fish just flipped out of its little bowl. With occasional mad scurries to the loo, which I began to dread as the evening wore on.
The GREAT thing bout the whole interestingly macabre experience (and trust me, I have not gone into the full gory details of it at all...), was that I suddenly lost what seemed like an incredibly large amount of weight. To be honest, I thought my scales had broken, or brain wasn't working properly.... as when I looked at the scales they gave me random numbers I didn't understand - certainly combinations of numbers I hadn't seen before. Basically, the units column had dropped by a rather unprecedented amount!

Anyway - feeling great now, though a trifle delicate, as it were. As well as doing the lunchboxdiet, I have been looking into the whole aspect of 'raw food'. As in eating things which aren't cooked. (Vegetable, seeds, nuts) I dehydrate a lot of things, so this kind of fits in with the whole ethos too. I have recently changed my attitude to the whole concept of eating. My body just went through more than just an illness - it seems to be running its own MOT .... will let you know what happens next!

I was asked to do a testimonial video bout the LunchBoxDiet (I love it),the request was for a kind of normal face to camera 'I like it because' type thing....and I looked at my reasons why the idea didn't kinda grab me totally... the words that follow are the words I used to say no (to that format) - the video is the one I DID put together......:

"No fears, it sounds delightful - I do love an audience! However, I operate in this world with a rather unusual/interesting understanding/perspective.....and my reasons for not wanting my face (as in this bodies face) appearing anywhere are as thus -

When we as people, allow ourselves to be linked into, in the way you describe (i.e. video access), ENERGETICALLY we are also linked into. Not sure how many people you have viewing your website.... but would I really want that many people linked into my system? Nope!

However, when they are linked into me via my videos, or words or poems, or artwork, or in any other ways, its kinda different, as it is more on my terms, as it were. As you know, human beings are rather good at making various uncomfortable realities that they then inhabit (a bit like the holo deck on Star Trek), as a personal trainer, you yourself must spend time cracking people open and encouraging them to step out of their old limitations and self imposed restricting mindsets......

I work in the same way, but spiritually/energetically.......... and I find I can reach more people if I access them through more unusual methods. Yes, it would be easy and great fun for me to appear on your website... talking is one thing I love to do - either in words from mouth, or words from fingers (look at the length of this email allready!). However, people would only see my form, and be limited by that....."
