Creaking pipes and high ceilings

How many people at work are sitting here right now hoping no-ne is looking over their shoulder as they write?........Have just growled (as nicely as one can growl) at my fellow friend next to me....and demanded (as nicely as one can demand) not to give a non-stop commentary on what he is doing as he hits the buttons next to me.....................lol

Tis assembly time.............followed by a 15 minute break.... which means (for those of you who cannot remember what an assembly is, in the schoolsense of the word) the school is gathered together - all 6 classes (20 - 30 in each class) ... together... and someone talks to them, or they do stuff... whatever.... and those of us who don't have to be there sneak off to the computer room to play.....

Not play second life you understand..............oooooooh no......... but play in whatever ways people do on computers.

Tis cold.... - which means doing lots of zips and buttons up on coats and jackets at playtime. This is an old victorian building - with creaking pipes and high ceilings. Takes a while to heat up - then is okay. But once inside, the kids have no concept that outside might be cold... and they rush out to play with excitement and joy and end up whimpering with cold pain... As I am allready usually cold - BEFORE I leave the building... just means I end up putting so many layers on I can hardly bend me arms................:)........snow is forecast tomorrow... which is London terms means kind of grey slushy stuff.........ha ha.............

But we shall see!!!!!
